No Sugar
Our mix is far too superior for sugar granules. We want a long lasting exfoliant that does the job beyond the basics. Sugar holds no skin benefits whatsoever, we promote using the scrub and letting it sit for a little bit before washing it off. The entirety of our scrub is beneficial.
No Soap or Surfactant
Soap has no place when exfoliating. It not only perpetuates skin drying, it also poses risk for irritation to the newly 'scrapped' skin. Essentially, when exfoliating you should be avoiding introduction of anything other than what the skin needs. It is a myth that we need 'soap' to clean the skin.
